The rodeo community is once again coming
together to help one of it’s own.
Idaho resident Peggy Reiter, a qualifier to
the National Finals Rodeo, has been
diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment
will include several months of radiation and
chemotherapy.
A benefit barrel race has been scheduled for
New Year’s Eve in Kuna at the F Bar Arena to
help to defray the mountains of medical
bills that Peggy is facing. The barrel race
will start with time only runs at 11 AM and
the race itself getting underway at 1 PM.
The F Bar Arena website, fbararena.com, says
that all the proceeds will go to help with
Peggy’s bills due to surgery that has
already been performed and to help with the
many bills that are ahead.
The day of barrel racing will include a $500
added open race and a novice horse and rider
class. The entry fee for the open race is
$50. It is $15 for the novice class.
