NEW YEAR’S EVE BULLS & BRONCS BASH RETURNS TO CANYON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS!
Caldwell, ID – November 2, 2006 – The second Annual New Year’s Eve Bulls & Broncs Bash is set to take place December 31st inside the Canyon County Fair Building. With standing room only in 2005, over 1,300 fans filled the Canyon County Fair Building as cowboys vied for $12,000 in prize money. Due to the popularity of the event in 2005 additional seating has been created. This year’s event will again feature some of the best professional rodeo cowboys in the Northwest. The celebrity lineup in 2005 included Zeb Lanham who will be going to the 2006 NFR in 5th place in the Bull Riding World Standings, Marcus Michaelis and Kyle Joslin of Caldwell. Marcus is currently in 10th place in bull riding in the Columbia River Circuit and 20th in the World Standings and Kyle is seated 12th in the Columbia River Circuit. Sean Culver 1 time NFR qualifier and 3 time Dodge National Circuit Finals qualifier in the Bareback Riding and Jeb Knox 2005 Columbia River Circuit Saddle Bronc Champion who is currently in second place in the Columbia River Circuit following Ryan MacKenzie, the 2005 Bulls & Broncs Saddle Bronc Champion.
Expect to see these top contestants and more this year. Added to the event is a Bull Riding Qualifier to take place on Saturday, December 30th. The top 10 bull riders in the qualifier will be vying to compete in the Bulls & Broncs Bash on Sunday night.

The Bulls & Broncs Bash will feature Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Live Music by the Jeff Palmer Band and Dancing. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for both events, and rodeo action begins at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased beginning December 1st at Treasure Valley D & B Supply stores and Idaho’s Cowboy Supply. Bulls & Broncs Bash ticket prices are $20 adults in advance or $25 at the door and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets for the qualifier will also be available at these locations or the door for $8.00 and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Advance sale tickets will be available until noon on the day of each event. Don’t forget to make your room reservation at either of the Nampa Shilo Inns. They are offering a great room rate, shuttle bus service between the hotel and the event and a hot breakfast on New Year’s Day. Call 800-222-2244 to make reservations.
