Finals...
Circuit Finals Rodeos are on the
schedule this weekend in the
Columbia River Circuit, the
Turquoise Circuit, and the Mountain
States Circuit.
The Mountain States Circuit Finals
starts Thursday night in Denver.
The Turquoise Circuit FInals in Las
Cruces, NM gets underway on a new
date in a new location on Friday,
and the Columbia River Circuit
Finals begins Friday night at 7:30
in Redmond, Oregon.
The Columbia River Circuit Finals
trails only the Montana's circuit
finals as the highest paying circuit
finals rodeos in the PRCA. This
year's rodeo will attract World
Champions Bobby Mote (bareback
riding) and Brad Gleason (steer
wresting), and Mike Beers (team
roping), newly crowned Canadian tie
down roping champion Tyson Durfey
from Washington, and National
Finalists Shawn Greenfield, Trevor
Knowles and Tony Currin (steer
wrestling), Jason Havens (bareback
riding), Zeb Lanham and JC Bean (bullriding),
Jeff and Amy Coelho (tie down roping
and barrel racing), Kelli Currin
(barrel racing), Brad Goodrich (tie
down roping) and Jason Stewart,
Brady Minor, Matt Funk, and Bucky
and BJ Campbell (team roping).
B.J. Campbell will take the lead in
the circuit's all-around race into
the finals. He'll be competing in
both the steer wresltling and the
team roping and has won more than
$24,000 this year.
The Dodge Columbia River Circuit
Finals, Presented by Amerititle,
gets underway with a timed event
horse sale Thursday, November 16 at
6:30. The first performance of the
rodeo is Friday night, November 17
at 7:30. Saturday will be a busy
day with the steer roping and permit
barrel racing finals in the morning
followed by the WPRA luncheon and
fashion show and featuring seminars
and committee meetings throughout
the day. The Saturday night
performance also gets underway at
7:30. The annual Breakfast of
Champions will be held Sunday
morning at 9:00 with the final
performance, which is part of the
Tough Enough to Wear Pink program,
Sunday afternoon at 1:30.
