It was a Coelho Family Sweep at the Othello Rodeo in Othello, WA September 16-17. 

 

Wrangler National Finals tie-down roping qualifier Jeff Coelho won his event in Othello with an 8.8.  His wife Amy, also and NFR qualifier, won the barrel race with a 17.53.

 

2002 PRCA World Champion Bareback Rider Bobby Mote from Culver, Oregon won Othello's all-around award.  Mote finished second in the bareback riding with an 81 and fifth in the team roping along with partner Jim Crouch from Bend, Oregon. 

 

The Othello All-Around buckle is given in the name of long time rodeo supporter Johnny Mercer.  This year's award was the tenth and final in a series of buckles given by Mercer's family to Othello's all-around champions.
